In the 12th minute, Mauro Barcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th match minute, Niupi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teo Beltranilla to maneuver through the defense. If Maureo Yunibarbia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mauro Barcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mauro Barcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Peruanton Rodero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Niupi's Nemesio Anda got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 28th minute Nemesio Anda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peruanton Rodero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Urko Moreira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Viviano Antuñano having to make a save. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Niupi's goalkeeper Viviano Antuñano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nemesio Anda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peruanton Rodero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mauro Barcia's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. If Nemesio Anda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Peruanton Rodero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Barcia in the 38th minute of the match. Mauro Barcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peruanton Rodero having to interfere. After having played for 44 minutes, Urko Moreira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jaraya FBC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Urko Moreira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberto Ceraso in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Viviano Antuñano saved Niupi from getting behind. Niupi's Nemesio Anda got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Alberto Ceraso made the kick off in the second half. Viviano Antuñano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Ceraso in the 52nd minute of play. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Niupi's goalkeeper Viviano Antuñano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Barcia in the 62nd minute of play forced Jaraya FBC's goalkeeper Peruanton Rodero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maureo Yunibarbia charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maureo Yunibarbia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 65 played minutes Niupi got a freekick which was hit by Maureo Yunibarbia. Urko Moreira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Viviano Antuñano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Peruanton Rodero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Barcia in the 78th minute of the match. Teo Beltranilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alberto Ceraso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viviano Antuñano having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Niupi's zone, Hector Melgarejo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Viviano Antuñano came out of the goal and Hector Melgarejo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
