The referee ignored Jaraya FBC's protests and gave Pepe Burgueño a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th minute, Pepe Burgueño hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Jaraya FBC's zone, Chesus Gambo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Peruanton Rodero came out of the goal and Chesus Gambo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. JANCLARE's Yoel Armas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urko Moreira in the 25th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in JANCLARE fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 65th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Jaraya FBC a penalty, 66 minutes into the game. The Jaraya FBC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
