When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Napier Clemente sped through Elite FCP's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Oihan Percaz. When Pedroso Brufau fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chacarita Juniors's protests and gave Pedroso Brufau a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th match minute, Chacarita Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedroso Brufau to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute, Joaquin Larrauri ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oihan Percaz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Napier Clemente in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oihan Percaz saved Elite FCP from getting behind. 37 minutes into the game, Abilio Cavite was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Elite FCP's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chacarita Juniors the free kick. Abilio Cavite hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Napier Clemente in the 38th minute of play forced Elite FCP's goalkeeper Oihan Percaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But to his dismay, Joaquin Larrauri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Chacarita Juniors's Matia Frances played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Higinio Peramato in the 77th minute of play. In the 79th minute Napier Clemente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oihan Percaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulino Mayorga charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulino Mayorga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 81 played minutes, Chacarita Juniors's Pedroso Brufau shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Oihan Percaz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chacarita Juniors reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Napier Clemente managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chacarita Juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but Napier Clemente was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oihan Percaz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 84th minute, Joaquin Larrauri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Napier Clemente did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-7 to the left of a surprised Oihan Percaz 87 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute Napier Clemente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oihan Percaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Pedroso Brufau's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oihan Percaz was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Napier Clemente kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Oihan Percaz. That made the score 0-8 in the 97 minute of play. Chacarita Juniors's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
