The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 8 minutes into the match, FC FARGO's goal looked a bit too open when Dominguez Udobro came free, but Romano Gacel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, CD La Victoria's Dominguez Udobro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Romano Gacel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Romano Gacel didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 11th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. In the 14th match minute, CD La Victoria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mirande Picado to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Paco Velarroa managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC FARGO's supporters rose to their feet, but Paco Velarroa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rocio Ocon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Erasmo Ocariz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rocio Ocon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Erasmo Ocariz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Rocio Ocon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Evaristo Trespuentes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paco Velarroa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paco Velarroa in the 52nd minute of play forced CD La Victoria's goalkeeper Rocio Ocon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the match, FC FARGO's goal looked a bit too open when Evaristo Trespuentes came free, but Romano Gacel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paco Velarroa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Romano Gacel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dominguez Udobro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the FC FARGO defense, Dominguez Udobro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Romano Gacel. The FC FARGO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romano Gacel should have stopped the shot. Romano Gacel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mirande Picado in the 69th minute of play. Paco Velarroa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Rocio Ocon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rocio Ocon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paco Velarroa in the 77th minute. In the 78th minute, Mirande Picado made a precise shot to the right of Romano Gacel. FC FARGO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Erasmo Ocariz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rocio Ocon having to make a save. Erasmo Ocariz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rocio Ocon having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erasmo Ocariz in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rocio Ocon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 94th minute of the match, Erasmo Ocariz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rocio Ocon saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 95 minutes into the match, Mirande Picado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Romano Gacel. FC FARGO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mirande Picado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. CD La Victoria were victorious despite being under pressure from FC FARGO for much of the match.
