CD La Victoria's Telmo Olaondo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 69th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Viviano Antuñano but with some difficulty. When Niupi's Mauro Barcia in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CD La Victoria's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Asur Melendes during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 73 minutes into the game, one of CD La Victoria:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Berenguer Duyos shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Mauro Barcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Rocio Ocon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Niupi's goalkeeper Viviano Antuñano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dominguez Udobro. Nemesio Anda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mirande Picado kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. 98 minutes into the match, CD La Victoria's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Barcia came free, but Rocio Ocon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The CD La Victoria supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing CD La Victoria would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
