Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 9th minute, Napier Clemente made a precise shot to the right of Romano Gacel. FC FARGO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 14 minutes into the match, FC FARGO's goal looked a bit too open when Napier Clemente came free, but Romano Gacel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romano Gacel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guib Banzola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chacarita Juniors's Matia Frances played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zelipe Suesa in the 18th minute of play. After 22 minutes of play, Chacarita Juniors's Celio Burbua made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Romano Gacel was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 25 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC FARGO! The referee gave Chacarita Juniors a penalty, 27 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Pedroso Brufau, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC FARGO's Romano Gacel. 0-3. FC FARGO's Romano Gacel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Napier Clemente in the 35th minute of play. Romano Gacel came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Chacarita Juniors's Joaquin Larrauri. But to his dismay, Joaquin Larrauri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. The supporters of Chacarita Juniors booed when FC FARGO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zelipe Suesa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luar Valsera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Romano Gacel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Napier Clemente, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 46th minute Paco Velarroa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matia Frances saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matia Frances made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jurdan Palma in the 47th minute of play. Chacarita Juniors's Matia Frances proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Chacarita Juniors from getting a goal against them. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Jurdan Palma put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Matia Frances. Paco Velarroa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chacarita Juniors's Matia Frances played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paco Velarroa in the 69th minute of play. FC FARGO's Zelipe Suesa managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Anaya Socarras in the 78 minute of the game. FC FARGO's Paco Velarroa got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jurdan Palma in the 82nd minute of play forced Chacarita Juniors's goalkeeper Matia Frances to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC FARGO's Paco Velarroa got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 89thth minute of the game Zelipe Suesa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chacarita Juniors's Matia Frances was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nunez Obispo's late challenge caught a Chacarita Juniors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nunez Obispo helped the player get up and apologised. Nunez Obispo kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jurdan Palma in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matia Frances prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
