The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Oropesa FC's zone, Jayvier Feyto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilmar Perojo came out of the goal and Jayvier Feyto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 15 minutes into the game, Oropesa FC's Asteri Aizaran nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bartlomiej Malik made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Bartlomiej Malik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ugutz Sarandeses in the 19th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Tucta's Raimundo Ramin got a free kick in the 21st minute. Mattin Sedeño's late challenge caught a Oropesa FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Tucta's supporters rose to their feet, but Mattin Sedeño was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilmar Perojo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oropesa FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Jayvier Feyto 43 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. After having played for 48 minutes, Ugutz Sarandeses managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oropesa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ugutz Sarandeses was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Ugutz Sarandeses made the kick off in the second half. When Jayvier Feyto fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tucta's protests and gave Jayvier Feyto a yellow card for diving instead. Bartlomiej Malik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ugutz Sarandeses, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Asteri Aizaran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bartlomiej Malik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ugutz Sarandeses, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 76thth minute of the game Jayvier Feyto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oropesa FC's Gilmar Perojo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mattin Sedeño might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gilmar Perojo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mattin Sedeño ran back to his position shaking his head.
