Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gitano Cabral in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristobal Clemente prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gitano Cabral blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristobal Clemente having to make a save. In the 32nd match minute, Alianza Lima was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fix Malvido to maneuver through the defense. Gitano Cabral's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristobal Clemente read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Eguerdi Berdu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Clemente having to interfere. 77 minutes into the game, Gitano Cabral cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Cristobal Clemente was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Yupanqui FC's Furtado Lugo in the 84th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Cristobal Clemente was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Alianza Lima through an amazing save. A collision led to Alianza Lima getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Zuzen Moyuelo hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Alianza Lima defense, Gitano Cabral kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristobal Clemente. The Alianza Lima fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristobal Clemente should have stopped the shot.
