Erubiel Feyjo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Colas Yecora in the 19th minute of play. Aritza Pandilla kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Urki Lugunez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kemen Sardaneta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prejun Salgado in the 25th minute of the match. FC Alianza Lima's Evaristo Raigal got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Panpili Tercero charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Panpili Tercero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 27th match minute, FC Alianza Lima was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Panpili Tercero to maneuver through the defense. Erubiel Feyjo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Colas Yecora showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 31 minute of play. With his leg Erubiel Feyjo managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when Club Deportivo Ilo's Urki Lugunez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Urki Lugunez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Evaristo Raigal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Prejun Salgado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ramond Graus hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Urki Lugunez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erubiel Feyjo having to interfere. Erubiel Feyjo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Colas Yecora, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 58 minutes into the game, Ongile Camaño was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Deportivo Ilo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Alianza Lima the free kick. Ongile Camaño hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. When Club Deportivo Ilo's Colas Yecora in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a defensive mix-up in FC Alianza Lima's zone, Colas Yecora stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erubiel Feyjo came out of the goal and Colas Yecora tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Colas Yecora sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 74 minutes, Albino Vidaurre mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Alianza Lima and the Club Deportivo Ilo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Club Deportivo Ilo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tiago Canellas in the 76th minute. The corner ended in Tiago Canellas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Alianza Lima's Erubiel Feyjo did a great save. Urki Lugunez took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erubiel Feyjo. Erubiel Feyjo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Urki Lugunez struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Erubiel Feyjo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Deportivo Ilo. Erubiel Feyjo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urki Lugunez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Urki Lugunez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erubiel Feyjo having to make a save. When Albino Vidaurre was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 95 minutes had been played. Urki Lugunez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Erubiel Feyjo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Club Deportivo Ilo's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
