When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Fernanco Cornejo sped through Club Deportivo Ilo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kemen Sardaneta. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Oriol Cascajares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tutupaca's supporters rose to their feet, but Oriol Cascajares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kemen Sardaneta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kemen Sardaneta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oriol Cascajares went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Kemen Sardaneta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernanco Cornejo, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After 35 minutes Club Deportivo Ilo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eguen Pintado who took care of the corner kick. A very nice done corner allowed Fernanco Cornejo to score against Kemen Sardaneta in Club Deportivo Ilo's goal. 1-3 after 35 minutes. Oriol Cascajares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fernanco Cornejo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fernanco Cornejo in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kemen Sardaneta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Colas Yecora to make the kick off. After 55 played minutes Club Deportivo Ilo got a freekick which was hit by Videl Vuelvetoros. Oriol Cascajares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Kemen Sardaneta made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernanco Cornejo in the 72nd minute of play forced Club Deportivo Ilo's goalkeeper Kemen Sardaneta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Agustin Acevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Colas Yecora, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Tutupaca's Agustin Acevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Colas Yecora in the 75th minute of play. After 80 minutes of play, Club Deportivo Ilo's Urki Lugunez made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Agustin Acevedo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kemen Sardaneta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernanco Cornejo, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Urki Lugunez might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Agustin Acevedo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Urki Lugunez ran back to his position shaking his head. Tutupaca's Agustin Acevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Colas Yecora in the 95th minute of play. Tutupaca were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
