Dominix Coronado might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rami Terme. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dominix Coronado ran back to his position shaking his head. Rami Terme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dominix Coronado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gines Gaytan charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gines Gaytan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th minute, one of Alianza Lima:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Alianza Lima. The supporters of CF Sideral booed when Alianza Lima was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emesto Lazcano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Yoel Larren managed to get in a good position for a shot. CF Sideral's supporters rose to their feet, but Yoel Larren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manni Betances breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of CF Sideral booed when Alianza Lima was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emesto Lazcano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute Yoel Larren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manni Betances saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gines Gaytan hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Perpinya Flor managed to get in a good position for a shot. CF Sideral's supporters rose to their feet, but Perpinya Flor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manni Betances breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yoel Larren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manni Betances having to interfere. Cordero Lozares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manni Betances came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by CF Sideral's Yoel Larren. But to his dismay, Yoel Larren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. CF Sideral's Rami Terme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dominix Coronado in the 40th minute of play. Rami Terme made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sidoro Caldevila in the 46th minute. In the 48th minute Dominix Coronado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rami Terme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yoel Larren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Yoel Larren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manni Betances having to interfere. If Cordero Lozares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yoel Larren in the 60th minute of play forced Alianza Lima's goalkeeper Manni Betances to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Alianza Lima defense, Cordero Lozares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manni Betances. The Alianza Lima fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manni Betances should have stopped the shot. Manni Betances made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yoel Larren in the 67th minute of play. Yoel Larren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Manni Betances showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yoel Larren in the 72nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Alianza Lima's Ursino Fontanes got a free kick in the 81st minute. Through an outstanding action, after 84 minutes, Manni Betances successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 90 minutes into the match, CF Sideral's goal looked a bit too open when Dominix Coronado came free, but Rami Terme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CF Sideral's Rami Terme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sidoro Caldevila in the 91st minute of play. When Dominix Coronado came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Alianza Lima fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dominix Coronado couldn't finish the play. Dominix Coronado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
