After a defensive mix-up in Botuayoc's zone, Beltran Valiente stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guillerme Ascarraga came out of the goal and Beltran Valiente tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loiola Ocerin in the 16th minute of play forced Huasca Fc's goalkeeper Nunez Boñal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xurde Redondo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Guillerme Ascarraga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Huasca Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Oinaz Arzube came free, but Nunez Boñal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Huasca Fc's Nunez Boñal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oinaz Arzube in the 28th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Duardo Tejada managed to get in a good position for a shot. Botuayoc's supporters rose to their feet, but Duardo Tejada was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nunez Boñal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Huasca Fc's Nunez Boñal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duardo Tejada in the 34th minute of play. Guillerme Ascarraga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beltran Valiente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nunez Boñal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorio Merida, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. 47 minutes into the match, Huasca Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Oinaz Arzube came free, but Nunez Boñal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The supporters of Botuayoc booed when Huasca Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo Piedeconcha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cortez Caceres got in the 57th minute a good position and tried a long shot which to a great surprise passed a very astonished Nunez Boñal. This was a shot which ended in a score of 0-1. Duardo Tejada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fermin Solarriba hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. If Dorio Merida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 76 played minutes Huasca Fc got a freekick which was hit by Patrido Rocha. When Oinaz Arzube came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Botuayoc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oinaz Arzube couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Huasca Fc's Oro Medina got a free kick in the 92nd minute. 94 minutes into the match, Cortez Caceres sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Nunez Boñal threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Cortez Caceres this time.
