Conventillo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Moise Piedrahita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Fénix FC's zone, Cristo Villascuerna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vasco Yurre came out of the goal and Cristo Villascuerna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 33 minutes, Cristo Villascuerna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Conventillo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristo Villascuerna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Moise Piedrahita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Opilano Villabol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ximen Godos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Opilano Villabol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ximen Godos, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After having played for 44 minutes, Cristo Villascuerna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The wind increased when Cristo Villascuerna made the kick off in the second half. Vasco Yurre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristo Villascuerna, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. If Geronimo Sande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Opilano Villabol made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Nicodemo PayµN sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristo Villascuerna in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vasco Yurre prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Tomas Matallana fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Conventillo's protests and gave Tomas Matallana a yellow card for diving instead. In the 91st match minute, Conventillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Matallana to maneuver through the defense. Conventillo's Opilano Villabol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moise Piedrahita in the 94th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Fénix FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
