Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Xurxo Louzara made the kick off which started today's match. When Mambru Carabajal fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Universitario's protests and gave Mambru Carabajal a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th match minute, Universitario was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mambru Carabajal to maneuver through the defense. After 7 minutes of play, Quimariari's Tabby Roca made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Laurgain Mauleon was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Cebo Zarra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute, Quimariari's Iratzeder Maimo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Iratzeder Maimo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Quimariari protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Iratzeder Maimo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of Universitario booed when Quimariari was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iratzeder Maimo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Quimariari's zone, Cebo Zarra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeronimo Hormaza came out of the goal and Cebo Zarra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Imanol Laje fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeronimo Hormaza having to interfere. In the 29th minute Imanol Laje shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeronimo Hormaza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tabby Roca's late challenge caught a Universitario's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tabby Roca helped the player get up and apologised. In the 29th minute, Tabby Roca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute Imanol Laje shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeronimo Hormaza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iratzeder Balbas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Laurgain Mauleon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Laurgain Mauleon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xurxo Louzara, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 42nd minute, Xurxo Louzara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Imanol Laje to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Xurxo Louzara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laurgain Mauleon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Quimariari's Tabby Roca in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Universitario's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arixo Barrera during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Arixo Barrera hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Jeronimo Hormaza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Imanol Laje's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Cebo Zarra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62nd minute, Fagildo Gala left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Universitario fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Jeronimo Hormaza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Imanol Laje, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Jeronimo Hormaza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Imanol Laje in the 69th minute of the match. The supporters of Universitario booed when Quimariari was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artemio Arnedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Imanol Laje managed to get in a good position for a shot. Universitario's supporters rose to their feet, but Imanol Laje was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeronimo Hormaza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Inocente Guitart hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Jeronimo Hormaza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cebo Zarra in the 76th minute of play. 77 minutes into the game, Tabby Roca recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Laurgain Mauleon. Tabby Roca showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. Reyes Matias kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After 87 minutes, Inocente Guitart mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quimariari and the Universitario players grew even worse after the yellow card. Inocente Guitart hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Jeronimo Hormaza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steven Adornio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Imanol Laje fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeronimo Hormaza having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Tabby Roca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Laurgain Mauleon was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. In the 93rd minute, Steven Adornio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Quimariari supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Quimariari would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
