Spectators: 6840 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1840, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Amato Alarcon took the kick off in the first half of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Quinten Helica could shoot a difficult shot in the 3rd minute, which Anastasio Verde however easily saved by the left post. Through an outstanding action, after 4 minutes, Anastasio Verde successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Anastasio Verde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amato Alarcon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 13 played minutes Melendez FBC got a freekick which was hit by Amato Alarcon. 15 minutes into the match, Taracoma's Marcelino Taboada sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Honrio Andibidria narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Zemario Martijana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelino Taboada's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Honrio Andibidria read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Marcelino Taboada took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Honrio Andibidria. Honrio Andibidria dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After having played for 31 minutes, Amato Alarcon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Melendez FBC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amato Alarcon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Quinten Helica could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Anastasio Verde made a huge save. After 46 minutes, Amato Alarcon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Melendez FBC and the Taracoma players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 46 played minutes Melendez FBC got a freekick which was hit by Amato Alarcon. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcelino Taboada made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Amato Alarcon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasio Verde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Zemario Martijana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anastasio Verde didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Quinten Helica went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Honrio Andibidria made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Marcelino Taboada sent off a good shot on target. Jago Sandianes took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anastasio Verde. Anastasio Verde dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rencio Monterrey during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 74th match minute, Melendez FBC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rencio Monterrey to maneuver through the defense. When Marcelino Taboada came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Taracoma fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelino Taboada couldn't finish the play. After 77 minutes of play, Melendez FBC's Jago Sandianes made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anastasio Verde was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 80th minute, Zemario Martijana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 81 played minutes Taracoma got a freekick which was hit by Edwardo Izaga.
