Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5875, Seating: 1575, VIP seats: 50) Iyan Galindez started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 5 minutes, Min Olmos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Guaira and the Melendez FBC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 6 played minutes La Guaira got a freekick which was hit by Min Olmos. Melendez FBC's Rencio Monterrey couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 6th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for La Guaira. Calisto Cianca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Honrio Andibidria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Iyan Galindez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute Quinten Helica shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isadoro Saz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When La Guaira's Iyan Galindez in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Melendez FBC's goalie prevented a goal. Iyan Galindez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Honrio Andibidria came out and tried to block the shot, but Iyan Galindez slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 29th minute. In the 32nd match minute, La Guaira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olo Sainz to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 34 minutes, Quinten Helica managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Melendez FBC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Quinten Helica was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Quinten Helica recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Melendez FBC's Quinten Helica got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Iyan Galindez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

56 minutes into the game, Amato Alarcon recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Isadoro Saz. Amato Alarcon showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. In the 60th minute, Calisto Cianca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Calisto Cianca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honrio Andibidria having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Quinten Helica ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isadoro Saz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Quinten Helica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Quinten Helica could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Isadoro Saz made a huge save. 92 minutes into the game, one of Melendez FBC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Mincho Nao shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Melendez FBC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
