In the 53rd minute, Ornopampa's Ronaldo Espinoso ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ambrosio Pedraza. Ambrosio Pedraza yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. 57 minutes into the match, Xusto Najera dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ambrosio Pedraza, 0-4. Clodio Barraza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teofilo Toledano having to interfere. The SC Peru fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ornopampa were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
