Theobald Borrero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xusto Najera in the 13th minute of the match. In the 18th minute Ximeno Gavito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofilo Toledano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rito Silveira's late challenge caught a Limatambo FBC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rito Silveira helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Ornopampa getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Rito Silveira hit a great ball. Teofilo Toledano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlondo Bao, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Ximeno Gavito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Ornopampa booed when Limatambo FBC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugenio Freire didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 30 minutes of play, Limatambo FBC's Orlondo Bao made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teofilo Toledano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jacindo Sobremonte hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Caitano Saladrigues kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Limatambo FBC's Ximeno Gavito got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Orlondo Bao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Limatambo FBC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xusto Najera was the one to do the kick off. In the 50th match minute, Ornopampa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primeiro Aldana to maneuver through the defense. In a very dangerous position, a player in Limatambo FBC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 53rd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Ornopampa a penalty, 55 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jacindo Sobremonte, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Limatambo FBC's Theobald Borrero. 1-2. After having played for 58 minutes, Xusto Najera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ornopampa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xusto Najera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ximeno Gavito struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Teofilo Toledano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Limatambo FBC. In the 66th minute, Ronaldo Espinoso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Xusto Najera came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Ornopampa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xusto Najera couldn't finish the play. Ximeno Gavito in the 72ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Teofilo Toledano, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 78 minutes into the match, Ornopampa's goal looked a bit too open when Orlondo Bao came free, but Teofilo Toledano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Limatambo FBC's Theobald Borrero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xusto Najera in the 80th minute of play. Ronaldo Espinoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theobald Borrero having to interfere.
