Orlondo Bao started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Clodio Barraza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Caitano Saladrigues kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. After having played for 9 minutes, Sugar Iros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sugar Iros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 16 minutes into the game, Xofre Barrueta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Limatambo FBC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Peru the free kick. In the 16th minute, one of Limatambo FBC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Limatambo FBC. A collision led to Limatambo FBC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Juan-Alfredo Cenal hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 22nd minute by Che Baz got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlondo Bao in the 24th minute of play forced SC Peru's goalkeeper Ambrosio Pedraza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Limatambo FBC's Theobald Borrero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clodio Barraza in the 26th minute of play. When Orlondo Bao came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Limatambo FBC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orlondo Bao couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, SC Peru's Lekubegi Lazaro got a free kick in the 41st minute. If Ximeno Gavito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 43 played minutes SC Peru got a freekick which was hit by Lekubegi Lazaro. The supporters of SC Peru booed when Limatambo FBC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacindo Monterroso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Theobald Borrero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clodio Barraza in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Clodio Barraza took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Theobald Borrero. Theobald Borrero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 57 minutes into the match, Juan Sanes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Theobald Borrero. Limatambo FBC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juan Sanes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 66th minute Che Baz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theobald Borrero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute, Limatambo FBC's Ximeno Gavito dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. SC Peru's Che Baz got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 79 minutes into the match, Limatambo FBC's goal looked a bit too open when Che Baz came free, but Theobald Borrero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Theobald Borrero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clodio Barraza, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Caitano Saladrigues's late challenge caught a SC Peru's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Caitano Saladrigues helped the player get up and apologised. Che Baz struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Theobald Borrero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Peru. In the 93rd minute, Baltasar Lastra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SC Peru's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
