Montalvo's Rogerio Cortazar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inguma Rozas in the 5th minute of play. Inguma Rozas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rogerio Cortazar having to make a save. Dominguez Domaquia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubio Piñan having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Panfilo Felpeto made a precise shot to the right of Rogerio Cortazar. Montalvo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Dominguez Domaquia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubio Piñan having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Montalvo's zone, Inguma Rozas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rogerio Cortazar came out of the goal and Inguma Rozas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rogerio Cortazar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Panfilo Felpeto's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Inguma Rozas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogerio Cortazar having to interfere. Dominguez Domaquia who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Rubio Piñan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Berto Urtueta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Rubio Piñan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rogerio Cortazar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inguma Rozas in the 45th minute of the match. The Montalvo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Chancara were winning 0-2.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Panfilo Felpeto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chancara's supporters rose to their feet, but Panfilo Felpeto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rogerio Cortazar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chancara's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
