Dionisio Sotorrio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 13th minute, Dionisio Sotorrio made a precise shot to the right of Salvidor Arciniega. Lucas FBC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. If Aloisio Elejalde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gero Vea during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gero Vea hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Senior Xerz's zone, Asur Areizabal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eloy Borrellino came out of the goal and Asur Areizabal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 27th minute, Aloisio Elejalde got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aloisio Elejalde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eloy Borrellino having to interfere. Eloy Borrellino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Asur Areizabal in the 34th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Senior Xerz's Gero Vea got a free kick in the 39th minute. The supporters of Lucas FBC booed when Senior Xerz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dionisio Sotorrio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Lucas FBC's zone, Dionisio Sotorrio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Salvidor Arciniega came out of the goal and Dionisio Sotorrio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chago Guilizasti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Salvidor Arciniega tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dionisio Sotorrio to strike the kick off in the second half. When Asur Areizabal came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Lucas FBC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Asur Areizabal couldn't finish the play. Aloisio Elejalde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 56 minutes, Cecilio Obiaga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Senior Xerz and the Lucas FBC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 62 minutes into the match, Senior Xerz's goal looked a bit too open when Asur Areizabal came free, but Eloy Borrellino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chago Guilizasti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Asur Areizabal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eloy Borrellino having to interfere. Aloisio Elejalde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Asur Areizabal struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Eloy Borrellino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lucas FBC. Eloy Borrellino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aloisio Elejalde, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Lucas FBC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
