In the 27th minute, Montalvo's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Maureo Royo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Huanchaco's Arixo Andaltia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Huanchaco from getting a goal against them. Huanchaco's Arixo Andaltia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nevada Arce in the 61st minute of play. Hermon Trelles kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. If Nevada Arce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rogerio Cortazar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dimo Bien kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Huanchaco's Arixo Andaltia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berto Urtueta in the 79th minute of play. Dimo Bien's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Arixo Andaltia firmly grabbed it by the left post. Serafo Resco didn't get a good kick on the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Montalvo's Mino Muguia broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. There was no doubt that Huanchaco were the better team. Huanchaco's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
