In the 4th minute of the match, Chago Guilizasti got a very nice opportunity to score, but Carmelo Alzola was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After having played for 5 minutes, Chago Guilizasti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Senior Xerz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chago Guilizasti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Evaristo Revilla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Eloy Borrellino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesus Tome in the 12th minute of play forced Senior Xerz's goalkeeper Eloy Borrellino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eloy Borrellino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaristo Revilla in the 16th minute of play. A collision led to Senior Xerz getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Cecilio Obiaga hit a great ball. The supporters of Club Real Seigaku F.B.C booed when Senior Xerz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gero Vea didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute of the match Norino Ubierna shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eloy Borrellino showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 29th minute, Gero Vea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Urdaspal Nurueña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th match minute, Senior Xerz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gero Vea to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute of the match Club Real Seigaku F.B.C got a corner. Senior Xerz's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zoilo Bruna ran over to the corner to take the kick. Carmelo Alzola didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dionisio Sotorrio went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

With a little luck, Senior Xerz's Eloy Borrellino got control of the ball when Evaristo Revilla tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carmelo Alzola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dionisio Sotorrio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dionisio Sotorrio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Carmelo Alzola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 65 played minutes Club Real Seigaku F.B.C got a freekick which was hit by Urdaspal Nurueña. If Chago Guilizasti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Club Real Seigaku F.B.C's zone, Chago Guilizasti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carmelo Alzola came out of the goal and Chago Guilizasti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carmelo Alzola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dionisio Sotorrio, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Jesus Tome's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eloy Borrellino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Senior Xerz's Jerico Piñon got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Senior Xerz's Eloy Borrellino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesus Tome in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chago Guilizasti in the 77th minute of play forced Club Real Seigaku F.B.C's goalkeeper Carmelo Alzola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Senior Xerz's zone, Evaristo Revilla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eloy Borrellino came out of the goal and Evaristo Revilla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 83rd minute, Evaristo Revilla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Club Real Seigaku F.B.C's Carmelo Alzola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chago Guilizasti in the 88th minute of play. If Dionisio Sotorrio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 93 played minutes Club Real Seigaku F.B.C got a freekick which was hit by Urdaspal Nurueña. 94 minutes into the game, Austin Blancas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Real Seigaku F.B.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Senior Xerz the free kick. After a rather tough play, Club Real Seigaku F.B.C's Austin Blancas got a free kick in the 95th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Senior Xerz's Peruxu Miranda tried to score from far away in the 96th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Club Real Seigaku F.B.C players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Senior Xerz.
