Mendebal Amada didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eustaquio Irazabal went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Eustaquio Irazabal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiburcio Pidrola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aresti Santurde, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. The supporters of Huarocani booed when Shimritinani FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osasun Oñate didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th match minute, Shimritinani FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osasun Oñate to maneuver through the defense. If Kinsen Villasana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiburcio Pidrola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aresti Santurde in the 27th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Shimritinani FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aresti Santurde came free, but Tiburcio Pidrola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Malvin Rodezno kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Tiburcio Pidrola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aresti Santurde in the 31st minute of the match. Nicasio Tineo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tiburcio Pidrola made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Kinsen Villasana sent off a good shot on target. If Aresti Santurde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Shimritinani FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Tiburcio Pidrola, was totally fooled by Huarocani's Elixio Martin, who 48 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

54 minutes into the game, Kinsen Villasana cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Tiburcio Pidrola was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mendebal Amada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustaquio Irazabal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Eustaquio Irazabal came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Shimritinani FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eustaquio Irazabal couldn't finish the play. Osasun Oñate hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Shimritinani FC defense, Aresti Santurde kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tiburcio Pidrola. The Shimritinani FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tiburcio Pidrola should have stopped the shot. Aresti Santurde recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eustaquio Irazabal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute Eustaquio Irazabal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mendebal Amada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Shimritinani FC booed when Huarocani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aresti Santurde didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Huarocani fans cheered their team off the field, for while Shimritinani FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
