In the 10th minute Mercurio Lago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valiente Tarresola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raphael Sevane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Berzosa having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mercurio Lago in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valiente Tarresola saved Avengers from getting behind. Mercurio Lago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Josue Bichesne might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valiente Tarresola. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Josue Bichesne ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mercurio Lago in the 23rd minute of play forced Avengers's goalkeeper Valiente Tarresola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raphael Sevane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Cristiano Berzosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mercurio Lago in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valiente Tarresola prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Josue Bichesne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valiente Tarresola having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joaquin Alderete during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 39 minutes into the match, Champapampa's Josue Bichesne sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valiente Tarresola narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mercurio Lago took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valiente Tarresola. Valiente Tarresola dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After the first half Champapampa were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Josue Bichesne was the one to do the kick off. Mercurio Lago could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Valiente Tarresola made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Raphael Sevane put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Cristiano Berzosa. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Avengers's goalkeeper Valiente Tarresola, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 61st minute, Josue Bichesne got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Avengers's Gomesano Arizabalo got a free kick in the 62nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mercurio Lago got free with Valiente Tarresola in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 65th minute, Mercurio Lago left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Champapampa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Valiente Tarresola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josue Bichesne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Inaki Junco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Avengers getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Gomesano Arizabalo hit a great ball. A hard shot 79 in the game by Josue Bichesne from a close distance when the talented Valiente Tarresola managed to make a qualified save. Avengers's players were relieved. Mikelar Almaguer's late challenge caught a Champapampa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mikelar Almaguer helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Avengers's Mikelar Almaguer got a free kick in the 80th minute. If Mercurio Lago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute Josue Bichesne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valiente Tarresola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mercurio Lago struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Valiente Tarresola didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Champapampa. If Mercurio Lago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Champapampa left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Avengers.
