Sergio Maquilanda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xano Antezana, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Bernardo Pis charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernardo Pis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Yocape's Bernardo Pis got a free kick in the 12th minute. Castel Torrecillas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caitano Esquide having to interfere. Sergio Maquilanda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bidari Jaimes in the 17th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Club Alianza Lima's Hori Enebro got a free kick in the 20th minute. Caitano Esquide was a little too slow when Hori Enebro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 1-0. Reynaldo Arza took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sergio Maquilanda. Sergio Maquilanda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 42nd minute, Reynaldo Arza made a precise shot to the right of Sergio Maquilanda. Club Alianza Lima's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Castel Torrecillas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caitano Esquide having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

In the 55th minute, Maximino Hoyon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 57th minute Reynaldo Arza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Maquilanda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Club Alianza Lima's goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo Arza came free, but Sergio Maquilanda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardo Pis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Sergio Maquilanda made a huge save. Sergio Maquilanda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reynaldo Arza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 63 played minutes Club Alianza Lima got a freekick which was hit by Hori Enebro. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Reynaldo Arza took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Sergio Maquilanda to make any attempt to save it. In the 68th minute, Cris Urtiaran ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sergio Maquilanda was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. After a defensive mix-up in Yocape's zone, Maximino Hoyon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Caitano Esquide came out of the goal and Maximino Hoyon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 82nd minute Reynaldo Arza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Maquilanda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Alianza Lima's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Viator Moyeda was slow to take the kick. During this time Yocape's players had a chance to rest. 91 minutes into the match, Bidari Jaimes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sergio Maquilanda, 1-6. Yocape played a much better game than Club Alianza Lima and deserved their victory. The Club Alianza Lima players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
