A very good chance. Gaueko Ustoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xaiver Aviñante in the 19th minute of the match. Osvaldo Pelaci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seme Bejar having to interfere. Alianza Lima's Gaueko Ustoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xaiver Aviñante in the 38th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Xaiver Aviñante made a kick off. Xaiver Aviñante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Argoitz Piedra was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 53rd minute. Sporting Cristal F.C's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 59 minutes into the match, Sporting Cristal F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Hilario Garnelo came free, but Seme Bejar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
