Seme Bejar came out of the goal and Cristian Olloa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ciro Rebollo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seme Bejar having to interfere. Asur Herro kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. If Argoitz Piedra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 44 minutes, Asur Herro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sporting Cristal F.C and the Abtao FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Asur Herro hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Guifre Bono sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Sporting Cristal F.C players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Abtao FC were winning 1-2.
