After having played for 43 minutes, Xusto Lagala managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mamaca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xusto Lagala was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gaueko Ustoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xusto Lagala in the 47th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Isauro Regalado kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After having played for 52 minutes, Hilario Garnelo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alianza Lima's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hilario Garnelo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 55 played minutes Alianza Lima got a freekick which was hit by Isauro Regalado. In the 57th minute, Rico Amarita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rico Amarita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaueko Ustoa having to interfere. In the 65th match minute, Mamaca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rico Amarita to maneuver through the defense. Osvaldo Pelaci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 69th minute Osvaldo Pelaci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gipuzkoa Lada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Pelaci in the 75th minute of play forced Mamaca's goalkeeper Gipuzkoa Lada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Alianza Lima were victorious despite being under pressure from Mamaca for much of the match.
