An unexpectedly hard shot by Iratxo Isasaga in the 20th minute of play forced Ac Milan's goalkeeper Jonathan Ripol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iratxo Isasaga in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ripol prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With an all-out effort, DM Athletic's Jonathan Ripol threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Iratxo Isasaga, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tallia Gundin couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Ripol came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by DM Athletic's Tallia Gundin. But to his dismay, Tallia Gundin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, Ac Milan's Dubardo Casado got a free kick in the 79th minute. Jonathan Ripol stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iratxo Isasaga's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. In the 87thth minute of the game Tallia Gundin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ac Milan's Jonathan Ripol was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tallia Gundin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the match, DM Athletic's Iratxo Isasaga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ripol narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Ac Milan booed when DM Athletic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bizen Gao didn't get a good kick on the ball.
