The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Hitz Rosich's late challenge caught a sporchiclayo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hitz Rosich helped the player get up and apologised. Efraim Arechavala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaueko Ustoa having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Ubendu Verganza fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Gaueko Ustoa, passed just outside the right post. Ubendu Verganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Gaueko Ustoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaueko Ustoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ubendu Verganza in the 83rd minute of play. Alianza Lima's Gaueko Ustoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubendu Verganza in the 85th minute of play. Ubendu Verganza took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gaueko Ustoa. Gaueko Ustoa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. If Ubendu Verganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Ubendu Verganza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gaueko Ustoa was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Gaueko Ustoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ubendu Verganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Efraim Arechavala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Gaueko Ustoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
