After 3 minutes, Elias Marsol mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cienciano and the AS THON TERIAS FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Cienciano getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Elias Marsol hit a great ball. In the 4th minute, Nicodemo Castañares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 7th minute Nicodemo Castañares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Txanton Bascal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dino Laurenciano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Txanton Bascal having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vitorino Soto during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 14th minute, Vitorino Soto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicodemo Castañares in the 17th minute of play forced Cienciano's goalkeeper Txanton Bascal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicodemo Castañares charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicodemo Castañares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 19 played minutes AS THON TERIAS FC got a freekick which was hit by Nicodemo Castañares. After having played for 23 minutes, Xiao Zotes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cienciano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xiao Zotes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 26 minutes into the game, Xiao Zotes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Magdaleno Guillemez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cienciano's Txanton Bascal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicodemo Castañares in the 32nd minute of play. In the 36th minute Rodrigo Medinilla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magdaleno Guillemez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dino Laurenciano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Txanton Bascal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicodemo Castañares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodrigo Medinilla made a kick off. After having played for 56 minutes, Nicodemo Castañares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AS THON TERIAS FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicodemo Castañares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 59 minutes into the match, Dino Laurenciano notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Cienciano's Txanton Bascal. Txanton Bascal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Txanton Bascal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dino Laurenciano in the 64th minute of the match. Txanton Bascal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicodemo Castañares in the 68th minute of play. Garin Garrandes kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Cienciano's Rodrigo Medinilla managed to work through AS THON TERIAS FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Rodrigo Medinilla dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. 74 minutes into the game, one of AS THON TERIAS FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 76th minute there was a penalty for Cienciano. Atarratze Pontones stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Magdaleno Guillemez. 2-2. Rodrigo Medinilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magdaleno Guillemez having to interfere. Rodrigo Medinilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Magdaleno Guillemez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Xiao Zotes went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. AS THON TERIAS FC's Magdaleno Guillemez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save AS THON TERIAS FC from getting a goal against them. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Cienciano walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
