In the 24th minute Urko Alvarellos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Seme Bejar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joachim Oraa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seme Bejar having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Urko Alvarellos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Seme Bejar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Moncho Coracera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seme Bejar having to interfere. In the 44thth minute of the game Moncho Coracera who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sporting Cristal F.C's Seme Bejar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Urko Alvarellos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Moncho Coracera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Pucucho FBC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Cristal F.C's zone, Urko Alvarellos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Seme Bejar came out of the goal and Urko Alvarellos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
