The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hanni Machuca showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Maore Ochari charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maore Ochari the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hanni Machuca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iratxo Isasaga in the 53rd minute of the match. Iratxo Isasaga struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efraim Arechavala in the 73rd minute of play forced DM Athletic's goalkeeper Tiago Arenillas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tiago Arenillas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ubendu Verganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. DM Athletic had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
