In the 11th minute Ubendu Verganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gipuzkoa Lada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Mamaca fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Mamaca's Xusto Lagala looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Mamaca getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Faustino Freigido hit a great ball. 23 minutes into the match, sporchiclayo's goal looked a bit too open when Xusto Lagala came free, but Hanni Machuca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Faustino Freigido took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hanni Machuca. sporchiclayo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xusto Lagala in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hanni Machuca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After the first half Mamaca were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xusto Lagala was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, sporchiclayo's Hanni Machuca got control of the ball when Xusto Lagala tried to sneak it across the goal line. Iparragirre Martioda struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Hanni Machuca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mamaca. Mamaca's Gipuzkoa Lada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubendu Verganza in the 58th minute of play. Efraim Arechavala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 63 played minutes sporchiclayo got a freekick which was hit by Nestor Docio. The crowd rose to their feet as Mamaca's Xusto Lagala slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hanni Machuca. That made the score 0-3 after 64 minutes of play. Xusto Lagala charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xusto Lagala the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Xusto Lagala hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efraim Arechavala in the 87th minute of play forced Mamaca's goalkeeper Gipuzkoa Lada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Mamaca's zone, Efraim Arechavala stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gipuzkoa Lada came out of the goal and Efraim Arechavala tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The sporchiclayo supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Mamaca's performance. The match ended with a win for Mamaca.
