The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Iparragirre Martioda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Iparragirre Martioda hit a great ball. Guifre Bono's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gipuzkoa Lada firmly grabbed it by the left post. Gipuzkoa Lada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Olloa in the 7th minute of the match. Faustino Freigido hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Ciro Rebollo took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Gipuzkoa Lada to make any attempt to save it. Gipuzkoa Lada made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guifre Bono in the 16th minute. In the 21st minute, one of Abtao FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Abtao FC. In the 23rd minute there was a penalty for Mamaca. Xusto Lagala stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Emanuel Sanchez. 1-1. Mamaca's Iparragirre Martioda got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Abtao FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Derwin Roncal hit a great ball. After having played for 32 minutes, Blai Baeza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mamaca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Blai Baeza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ciro Rebollo during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Abtao FC's zone, Iparragirre Martioda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Sanchez came out of the goal and Iparragirre Martioda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gipuzkoa Lada made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guifre Bono in the 46th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guifre Bono made a kick off. Derwin Roncal kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Ciro Rebollo hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. If Iparragirre Martioda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Mamaca's zone, Guifre Bono stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gipuzkoa Lada came out of the goal and Guifre Bono tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 75 minutes into the game, Faustino Freigido was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mamaca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Abtao FC the free kick. In the 76th match minute, Mamaca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustino Freigido to maneuver through the defense. Guifre Bono sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xusto Lagala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Sanchez having to interfere. With a little luck, Abtao FC's Emanuel Sanchez got control of the ball when Iparragirre Martioda tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Guifre Bono managed to get in a good position for a shot. Abtao FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Guifre Bono was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gipuzkoa Lada breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rico Amarita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Mamaca supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mamaca would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
