Garcia Garandia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Modesto Ocariz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. If Pedroso Alava had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute Primeiro Macilla managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. When Garcia Garandia came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Curu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Garcia Garandia couldn't finish the play. 49 minutes into the game, Desiderio Corujo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedroso Alava to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Quishuarpata's zone, Garcia Garandia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Modesto Ocariz came out of the goal and Garcia Garandia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Domenico Larrangos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quishuarpata's supporters rose to their feet, but Domenico Larrangos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Illan Garaizar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Garcia Garandia who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Modesto Ocariz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 97 minutes into the match, Curu's goal looked a bit too open when Sandalio Caldeiro came free, but Illan Garaizar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sandalio Caldeiro scored 2-1 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Illan Garaizar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Quishuarpata's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
