Marin Basel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Modestio Gilavert in the 3rd minute of play. Janpier Hermo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marin Basel having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Janpier Hermo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Macheteros's supporters rose to their feet, but Janpier Hermo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marin Basel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 16 minutes, Mateus Sombredo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cometero and the Macheteros players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Macheteros booed when Cometero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateus Sombredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marin Basel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Germano Folguera in the 21st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernaldo Berrondo in the 25th minute of play forced Macheteros's goalkeeper Cordero Gomara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Modestio Gilavert kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marin Basel. That made the score 1-0 in the 30 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Modestio Gilavert managed to get in a good position for a shot. Macheteros's supporters rose to their feet, but Modestio Gilavert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marin Basel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 42 minutes into the game, Germano Folguera was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Macheteros's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cometero the free kick. After 42 played minutes Macheteros got a freekick which was hit by Germano Folguera. Janpier Hermo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marin Basel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

It was beautiful to see Macheteros's Matias Lima in action when he in the 53rd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Marin Basel came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Macheteros's Modestio Gilavert. But to his dismay, Modestio Gilavert quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Cometero's Bento Adrales suffered a concussion in the 61st minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. When Graham Püttmann fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Macheteros's protests and gave Graham Püttmann a yellow card for diving instead. In the 62nd minute, Graham Püttmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cordero Gomara was a little too slow when Mateus Sombredo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 66th minute. The score was now 2-1. In the 72nd minute, Germano Folguera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 81 minutes into the match, Macheteros's goal looked a bit too open when Bernaldo Berrondo came free, but Cordero Gomara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Cometero's goal looked a bit too open when Modestio Gilavert came free, but Marin Basel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernaldo Berrondo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Cordero Gomara made a huge save. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cometero's goalkeeper Marin Basel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Modestio Gilavert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 94 played minutes Cometero got a freekick which was hit by Ignado Turiel. If Modestio Gilavert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96thth minute of the game Janpier Hermo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cometero's Marin Basel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Macheteros had played much better football throughout.
