In the 7th minute Salvador Hualde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marin Basel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, dcalixto FC's Havier Benavidez got control of the ball when Bernaldo Berrondo tried to sneak it across the goal line. dcalixto FC's Havier Benavidez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignado Turiel in the 11th minute of play. Marin Basel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Almenester in the 19th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Salvador Hualde managed to get in a good position for a shot. dcalixto FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Salvador Hualde was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marin Basel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 22 minutes into the game, Bento Adrales was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cometero's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave dcalixto FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Cometero's Bento Adrales got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 27 minutes into the match, dcalixto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ignado Turiel came free, but Havier Benavidez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Salvador Hualde came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the dcalixto FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Salvador Hualde couldn't finish the play. Bernaldo Berrondo took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Havier Benavidez. Havier Benavidez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ignado Turiel to make the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, dcalixto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eate Madinabeitia to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Seguinus Raimundo from long distance, 60 minutes into the match, got Marin Basel's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When Bernaldo Berrondo fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cometero's protests and gave Bernaldo Berrondo a yellow card for diving instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Toro Yarritu during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Cometero getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Toro Yarritu hit a great ball. After 67 minutes of play, Cometero's Ignado Turiel made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Havier Benavidez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marin Basel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Almenester in the 74th minute of the match. If Bernaldo Berrondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salvador Hualde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Marin Basel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marin Basel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Almenester in the 81st minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Damian Almenester notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Cometero's Marin Basel. Marin Basel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 85th minute, Ignado Turiel made a precise shot to the right of Havier Benavidez. dcalixto FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. After 89 played minutes, Cometero's Xosepin Verastegui shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Havier Benavidez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cometero reached it. Cometero were victorious despite being under pressure from dcalixto FC for much of the match.
