The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the match, PARIS SAINT GERMAIN's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Leiva came free, but Tuste Silio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 47 in the game by Basarab Mutu from a close distance when the talented Tuste Silio managed to make a qualified save. PARIS SAINT GERMAIN's players were relieved. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Tuste Silio didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Independiente de Mendoza's Basarab Mutu shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Tuste Silio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basarab Mutu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute Basarab Mutu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tuste Silio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Independiente de Mendoza's Sherlock Holmes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tuste Silio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tuste Silio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Basarab Mutu went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Peyo Giralte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Independiente de Mendoza's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
