The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Yomblom FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adalberto Persol was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 9th minute, Adalberto Persol left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Palma FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. A collision led to Yomblom FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Zenaido Toranzo hit a great ball. Terciero Cunyat, 12 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Lando Malvido dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Benino Maria sped through Yomblom FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lando Malvido. After 27 minutes of play, La Palma FC's Benino Maria made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lando Malvido was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luka Langoni scored 0-7 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lando Malvido, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lando Malvido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benino Maria in the 34th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Yomblom FC defense, Terciero Cunyat kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lando Malvido. The Yomblom FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lando Malvido should have stopped the shot. In the 39th minute, Luka Langoni left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Palma FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-9. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adalberto Persol in the 42nd minute of play forced Yomblom FC's goalkeeper Lando Malvido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Macario Elicegui during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 44 played minutes Yomblom FC got a freekick which was hit by Macario Elicegui. In the 45th minute, Benino Maria ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lando Malvido was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-10. The Yomblom FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. La Palma FC were winning 0-10.

La Palma FC made a substitution. Paul Guajardo replaced Luka Langoni. The wind increased when David Molina made the kick off in the second half. An unexpected shot in the 53rd minute by Paul Guajardo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 56 minutes into the game, one of La Palma FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. La Palma FC's Izotz Torneira was substituted for Senen Madariaga. After taking down the ball on Yomblom FC's corner Víctor-Emilio Rivadeneyra-Gamonal fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Șerban Fundătoreanu quite easily take care of the ball. In the 62nd minute, La Palma FC's Adalberto Persol ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lando Malvido. Lando Malvido yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-12. The supporters of La Palma FC booed when Yomblom FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Molina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Beremundo Arzuriaga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lando Malvido having to interfere. Lando Malvido made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adalberto Persol in the 68th minute. The audience was convinced that Benino Maria's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lando Malvido was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Evelio Gandarias during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Benino Maria succeeded in the game's 93rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-16. In the 97th minute, La Palma FC's Benino Maria ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lando Malvido. Lando Malvido yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-17. La Palma FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
