Argider Ferrero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adalberto Persol went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. With his leg Argider Ferrero managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when La Palma FC's Benino Maria fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 16 minutes into the match, Cai Xuan Yi notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of La Palma FC's Șerban Fundătoreanu. Șerban Fundătoreanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 19th minute Ramon Messi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Șerban Fundătoreanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. La Palma FC's Șerban Fundătoreanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xayvion Casillas in the 20th minute of play. In the 23rdth minute of the game Benino Maria who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Manchester United's Argider Ferrero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 29 minutes into the match, La Palma FC's goal looked a bit too open when Siro Santamaria came free, but Șerban Fundătoreanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Terciero Cunyat kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Manchester United's goalkeeper Argider Ferrero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adalberto Persol. 35 minutes into the match, Adalberto Persol notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Manchester United's Argider Ferrero. Argider Ferrero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benino Maria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benino Maria was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Manchester United's Ramon Messi got a free kick in the 50th minute. After 52 minutes of play, La Palma FC's Luka Langoni made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Argider Ferrero was left in no man's land by his defense there! Argider Ferrero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benino Maria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hulberto Carbajal's late challenge caught a La Palma FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hulberto Carbajal helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of La Palma FC booed when Manchester United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hulberto Carbajal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 67 played minutes Manchester United got a freekick which was hit by Rähim Äzizbäyov. Siro Santamaria was extremely unlucky when he, in the 69th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 82nd minute, Adalberto Persol made a precise shot to the right of Argider Ferrero. Manchester United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Șerban Fundătoreanu came out of the goal and Cai Xuan Yi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Manchester United's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
