Ayapata FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. La Palma FC's Șerban Fundătoreanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save La Palma FC from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clis PayµN got free with Șerban Fundătoreanu in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 9 minutes into the match, Ayapata FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cornelio Lobregon came free, but Siro Calvo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Siro Calvo came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by La Palma FC's Benino Maria. But to his dismay, Benino Maria quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Adalberto Persol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornelio Lobregon in the 17th minute of play forced Ayapata FC's goalkeeper Siro Calvo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Șerban Fundătoreanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clis PayµN, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute, Ayapata FC's Jeronimo Dalmu seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jeronimo Dalmu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ayapata FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jeronimo Dalmu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 25 minutes into the game, one of Ayapata FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Iago Segura's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Șerban Fundătoreanu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Cornelio Lobregon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siro Calvo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benino Maria in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Siro Calvo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, La Palma FC's Adalberto Persol got a free kick in the 35th minute. When Clis PayµN came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Ayapata FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clis PayµN couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Ayapata FC defense, Adalberto Persol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Siro Calvo. The Ayapata FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Siro Calvo should have stopped the shot. After having played for 44 minutes, Adalberto Persol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Palma FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adalberto Persol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 45th minute, Beltza Valmaseda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adalberto Persol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Siro Calvo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Senen Madariaga's late challenge caught a Ayapata FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Senen Madariaga helped the player get up and apologised. Senen Madariaga hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Șerban Fundătoreanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clis PayµN in the 54th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, La Palma FC's goal looked a bit too open when Clis PayµN came free, but Șerban Fundătoreanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Clis PayµN notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of La Palma FC's Șerban Fundătoreanu. Șerban Fundătoreanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iago Segura in the 68th minute of play forced La Palma FC's goalkeeper Șerban Fundătoreanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. La Palma FC's Șerban Fundătoreanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iago Segura in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Terciero Cunyat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zumar Lertora kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Șerban Fundătoreanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clis PayµN, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ayapata FC's Beltza Valmaseda was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Șerban Fundătoreanu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Siro Calvo came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by La Palma FC's Cornelio Lobregon. But to his dismay, Cornelio Lobregon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Evaristo Sandalio kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Șerban Fundătoreanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clis PayµN in the 81st minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Iago Segura had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Șerban Fundătoreanu. La Palma FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iago Segura was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. In the 88th minute, Benino Maria fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Siro Calvo, passed just outside the right post. Terciero Cunyat struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Siro Calvo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Palma FC. La Palma FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
