In the 5th match minute, UD Maracaibo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xever Castiñeira to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Niolaao Rapado managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Galanthue Descentralizado's Rusi Dokuzanov fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 25th match minute, Galanthue Descentralizado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sazon Cuadra to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the game, Gualterio Sarmanton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Noe Bazo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 29 played minutes UD Maracaibo got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Lavet. 34 minutes into the match, Galanthue Descentralizado's goal looked a bit too open when Cerilo Ajorbe came free, but Noe Bazo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute, Rusi Dokuzanov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 44th match minute, Galanthue Descentralizado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rusi Dokuzanov to maneuver through the defense. Noe Bazo came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by UD Maracaibo's Cerilo Ajorbe. But to his dismay, Cerilo Ajorbe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rusi Dokuzanov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Galanthue Descentralizado getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Tito Cadenas hit a great ball. UD Maracaibo's Frascuelo Trullols was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 60th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 64 played minutes Galanthue Descentralizado got a freekick which was hit by Rogerio Varandalla. In the 65th minute, Xever Castiñeira sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Galanthue Descentralizado's Noe Bazo didn't even have to move. After a rather tough play, Galanthue Descentralizado's Rusi Dokuzanov got a free kick in the 68th minute. Oliverios Alastuey kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. The supporters of Galanthue Descentralizado booed when UD Maracaibo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beliran Videgaray didn't get a good kick on the ball. Niolaao Rapado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogerio Varandalla in the 81st minute of play. Cerilo Ajorbe might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Noe Bazo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cerilo Ajorbe ran back to his position shaking his head. Noe Bazo was out of position in the 87 minute of play, and Jaime Lavet capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jaime Lavet really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. 90 minutes into the match, Rusi Dokuzanov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Niolaao Rapado. UD Maracaibo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rusi Dokuzanov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. Frascuelo Trullols kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched UD Maracaibo eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
