The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wieslaw Purzycki showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Alianza Lima's Eloi Valle got a free kick in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabino Almuzara in the 21st minute of play forced Sport Serranos's goalkeeper Montrelle Cuadrado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wieslaw Purzycki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cordario Ruis, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Ederono Betances fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wieslaw Purzycki having to interfere. Sarracino Condado struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Montrelle Cuadrado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alianza Lima. Alianza Lima's Wieslaw Purzycki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ortle Enderica in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute of the match Sport Serranos got a corner. Alianza Lima's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. David Gilmour ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in David Gilmour almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Alianza Lima's Wieslaw Purzycki did a great save. Wieslaw Purzycki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cordario Ruis in the 37th minute of play. Humberto Requena kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Cordario Ruis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wieslaw Purzycki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sarracino Condado got free with Montrelle Cuadrado in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Jerold Requena made the kick off in the second half. Montrelle Cuadrado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerold Requena in the 54th minute of play. Cordario Ruis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wieslaw Purzycki having to interfere. 79 minutes in the game Teofilo Porras did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Sarracino Condado. Alianza Lima's Jerold Requena got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Sport Serranos getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Leonel Ezguerra hit a great ball. Wieslaw Purzycki made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Ederono Betances sent off a good shot on target.
