The attack was good, but when Vedillo Pumares in the 8th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Emilio Oterino was a little too slow when Sancho Bengochea got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 2-0. The audience was convinced that Vedillo Pumares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xeromo Rabel was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. 16 minutes into the game, Silverio Franquesa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Xeromo Rabel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Silverio Franquesa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Emilio Oterino made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Sancho Bengochea sent off a good shot on target. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vedillo Pumares made a kick off. After 55 minutes, Vitoria Gigante mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ADT and the Garfield Dream Team players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Garfield Dream Team booed when ADT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vitoria Gigante didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vedillo Pumares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Xeromo Rabel made a huge save. Vedillo Pumares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xeromo Rabel having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Nilmar Borges ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emilio Oterino was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. In the 66th minute Sancho Bengochea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Oterino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Garfield Dream Team getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Bautista Hudobro hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sancho Bengochea in the 70th minute of play forced Garfield Dream Team's goalkeeper Emilio Oterino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nilmar Borges hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute, Roger Banzo made a precise shot to the right of Emilio Oterino. Garfield Dream Team's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. After 85 minutes of play, ADT's Sancho Bengochea made it 7-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emilio Oterino was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 88 played minutes Garfield Dream Team got a freekick which was hit by Bautista Hudobro. Sancho Bengochea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Oterino having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Garfield Dream Team's goal looked a bit too open when Victorino Logares came free, but Emilio Oterino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in ADT's zone, Vedillo Pumares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xeromo Rabel came out of the goal and Vedillo Pumares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Silverio Franquesa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. ADT had played much better football throughout.
