Emilio Oterino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, ADT's Sancho Bengochea got a free kick in the 7th minute. 8 minutes into the match, ADT's goal looked a bit too open when Vedillo Pumares came free, but Xeromo Rabel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Silverio Franquesa came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Garfield Dream Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silverio Franquesa couldn't finish the play. Vedillo Pumares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Xeromo Rabel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Garfield Dream Team's goal looked a bit too open when Victorino Logares came free, but Emilio Oterino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victorino Logares took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emilio Oterino. Emilio Oterino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Vedillo Pumares who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Xeromo Rabel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 23 minutes into the game, Sancho Bengochea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ADT's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Garfield Dream Team the free kick. Silverio Franquesa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xeromo Rabel having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Victorino Logares left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ADT fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. A collision led to ADT getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Onbera Ripol hit a great ball. Sancho Bengochea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maria Tesillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xeromo Rabel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Emilio Oterino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sancho Bengochea in the 44th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vedillo Pumares got free with Xeromo Rabel in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vedillo Pumares to make the kick off. A collision led to ADT getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Vitoria Gigante hit a great ball. Sancho Bengochea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Emilio Oterino made a huge save. Sancho Bengochea took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emilio Oterino. Emilio Oterino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Emilio Oterino didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 65th minute, which inside left pole to 0-5. In the 69th minute, ADT's Sancho Bengochea dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. In the 73rd minute, ADT's Victorino Logares ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Emilio Oterino. Emilio Oterino yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. After a defensive mix-up in ADT's zone, Silverio Franquesa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xeromo Rabel came out of the goal and Silverio Franquesa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ADT's Sancho Bengochea got his second yellow card of the match in the 80th minute. The referee ordered Sancho Bengochea off the ground. After 81 played minutes ADT got a freekick which was hit by Sancho Bengochea. If Victorino Logares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Despite close surveillance by the defense, Victorino Logares managed to send off a shot that put the ball into the goal to the left of a disappointed goalkeeper. 0-8 in the 93rd minute. In the 96th minute, ADT's Nilmar Borges ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Emilio Oterino. Emilio Oterino yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. ADT's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
