Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sazon Casado started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pes Ascarretazabal got free with Cebo Proaño in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Pomamayo's zone, Sazon Casado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cebo Proaño came out of the goal and Sazon Casado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 8 minutes into the match, Chayuta's Pes Ascarretazabal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cebo Proaño narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Chayuta's Sazon Casado got a free kick in the 13th minute. Sazon Casado received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cebo Proaño came out and tried to block the shot, but Sazon Casado slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 15th minute. A collision led to Chayuta getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Gilberto Flores hit a great ball. Rozarius Guajardo's late challenge caught a Pomamayo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rozarius Guajardo helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of Chayuta:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pomamayo:s goal. Montrel Guisla had in the 25thth minute some difficulties stopping Pacorro Estades's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. If Maore Rovira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd of the match, Sazon Casado tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Cebo Proaño got in the way and made a wonderful save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maore Rovira in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Montrel Guisla saved Chayuta from getting behind. Fabio Garzon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th minute, Eguen Yugueros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cebo Proaño was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 44th minute, Pacorro Estades hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes into the match, Chayuta's Javier Cavero broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabio Garzon made a kick off. Sazon Casado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cebo Proaño having to interfere. Cebo Proaño took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jax Pujol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pes Ascarretazabal in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cebo Proaño prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cebo Proaño came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Chayuta's Sazon Casado. But to his dismay, Sazon Casado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 68th minute of the match Gilberto Flores shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cebo Proaño showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cebo Proaño took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pes Ascarretazabal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chayuta's Pes Ascarretazabal got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 74 minutes into the game, Chayuta's Eguen Yugueros nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cebo Proaño made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Pes Ascarretazabal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Cebo Proaño tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nazario Botas's late challenge caught a Chayuta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nazario Botas helped the player get up and apologised. Cebo Proaño showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sazon Casado in the 90th minute of the match. Pomamayo's Maore Rovira got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There was no doubt that Chayuta were the better team. Chayuta's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
