Emilio Oterino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Javier Cavero's late challenge caught a Garfield Dream Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Javier Cavero helped the player get up and apologised. In the 7th minute, one of Chayuta:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Chayuta. In the 9th minute there was a penalty for Garfield Dream Team. Raymundo Echaitia stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Montrel Guisla. 1-1. Pes Ascarretazabal scored 1-2 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emilio Oterino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Emilio Oterino came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Chayuta's Pes Ascarretazabal. But to his dismay, Pes Ascarretazabal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Sazon Casado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Natanael Belo hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Favila Lesaca during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Garfield Dream Team's Favila Lesaca got a free kick in the 31st minute. 35 minutes into the match, Sazon Casado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emilio Oterino. Garfield Dream Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sazon Casado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. When Irrintzi Matanza fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Garfield Dream Team's protests and gave Irrintzi Matanza a yellow card for diving instead. Irrintzi Matanza kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Irrintzi Matanza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sazon Casado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Emilio Oterino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Pes Ascarretazabal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chayuta's supporters rose to their feet, but Pes Ascarretazabal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emilio Oterino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sazon Casado made a kick off. Emilio Oterino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cilio Fombona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute Sazon Casado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Oterino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bikendi Cerezal in the 59th minute of play forced Chayuta's goalkeeper Montrel Guisla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emilio Oterino made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Pes Ascarretazabal sent off a good shot on target. After 61 played minutes Garfield Dream Team got a freekick which was hit by Natanael Belo. Pes Ascarretazabal came free with the goalkeeper in the 62nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Emilio Oterino could save by the left post. In the 63rd minute Eguen Yugueros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Oterino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Garfield Dream Team's Emilio Oterino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Garfield Dream Team from getting a goal against them. Montrel Guisla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maria Tesillo in the 79th minute of the match. Sazon Casado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 82 minutes into the match, Garfield Dream Team's goalkeeper Emilio Oterino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pes Ascarretazabal. Sazon Casado received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Emilio Oterino came out and tried to block the shot, but Sazon Casado slotted it home off the left post making it 2-5 in the 83rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Garfield Dream Team's zone, Sazon Casado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emilio Oterino came out of the goal and Sazon Casado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pes Ascarretazabal hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Chayuta had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
