Spectators: 8517 (Terracing: 6388, Seating: 1959, VIP seats: 170) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mon Postigo took the kick off in the first half of the match. With his leg Ibon Conill managed to avoid a goal in the 5thth minute, when Universitario's Mon Postigo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mon Postigos short, quick shot in the 6thth minute got Ibon Conill to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 13th play minute Mon Postigo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ibon Conill. 2-0. In the 20th minute, Universitario's Mon Postigo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. After 25 minutes, Mon Postigo made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. FC Sportomar's Ibon Conill tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 28 played minutes FC Sportomar got a freekick which was hit by Velasco Dulanto. FC Sportomar's defense didn't have a chance, in the 29th minute, when Mon Postigo scored to the left of an out of position Ibon Conill, making the score, 5-0. Ibon Conill was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Mon Postigo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mon Postigo really showed his touch with that goal: 6-0. When Universitario's Mon Postigo in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Sportomar's goalie prevented a goal. A nice corner shot did that Carlos Zambrano got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ibon Conill quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 43 minutes into the game, Mon Postigo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ibon Conill. Mon Postigo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 8-0. Mon Postigo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Ibon Conill when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 8-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Xayvion Carne stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ibon Conill came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Universitario's Mon Postigo. But to his dismay, Mon Postigo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mon Postigo in the 54th minute of play forced FC Sportomar's goalkeeper Ibon Conill to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Universitario's Ebardo Buergo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Velasco Dulanto, made in the 59th minute of the game. Universitario made a substitution. Lionel-Andrés Newell replaced Mon Postigo. After a defensive mix-up in FC Sportomar's zone, Lionel-Andrés Newell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ibon Conill came out of the goal and Lionel-Andrés Newell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ibon Conill took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lionel-Andrés Newell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Universitario's Euloxu Rojas was substituted for Branislav Vitev. The throw-in from Gilesindo Samaniego in the 66th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Universitario's Eneto Barrachina. Ibon Conill stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lionel-Andrés Newell's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Ibon Conill made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lionel-Andrés Newell in the 69th minute of play. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Sportomar's goalkeeper Ibon Conill, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Velasco Dulanto got a throw-in 74 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Uxio Crisol. Velasco Dulanto made in the 76th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Universitario's Eneto Barrachina. 80 minutes into the match, Lionel-Andrés Newell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ibon Conill. FC Sportomar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lionel-Andrés Newell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 11-0. In the 83rd minute, Lionel-Andrés Newell ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ibon Conill was frozen by the shot and now it was 12-0. A collision led to FC Sportomar getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Uxio Crisol hit a great ball. When Lionel-Andrés Newell came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Universitario fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lionel-Andrés Newell couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in FC Sportomar's zone, Lionel-Andrés Newell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ibon Conill came out of the goal and Lionel-Andrés Newell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 94th minute, Lionel-Andrés Newell made a precise shot to the right of Ibon Conill. FC Sportomar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 13-0. There was no doubt that Universitario were the better team. Universitario's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
